The GEL-PULSE 8 features an innovative SpEVA midsole to enhance your cushioning and strike whilst you train. Synthetic/Mesh Upper The upper is constructed using comfortable, supportive and breathable Gore-Tex materials with Gore-Tex mesh panels for increased airflow. This combination of materials helps to keep the feet cool and completely dry, and creates a more pleasant environment for the wearer. The plush EVA Sockliner provides extra cushioning, and moulds to the wearer's foot to provide a personalised fit. The sockliner can be removed for washing, or to accommodate a medical orthotic. The addition of reflective elements produced by the company 3M help to improve safety when out training in low-light conditions. As such, not only will these shoes take care of your feet, but also your safety. Super SpEVA Midsole The GEL-Pulse 8's midsole integrates SpEVA technology, which helps to put a spring in your step whilst running. It provides bounceback, and as a result the SpEVA minimises the energy lost during the gait cycle, and channels it into your run for increased performance and decreased fatigue. The SpEVA midsole also helps to decrease the midsole breakdown, thereby extending your shoes' lifespan. The GEL-Pulse 8's midsole also features rearfoot and forefoot GEL units, which helps to absorb shock and provide comfort, as well as reduced stress on your joints. The GEL units are placed close to the foot to replicate your foot's natural tissue, which in turn improves their performance.
