De ASUS PCE-N10 is ontworpen voor volledige end-to-end draadloze prestaties van de server of server backbone naar de switchinfrastructuur en verder naar de desktop met PCI Express-connector. De PCE-N10 Wireless-N PCI Express Adapter biedt brede compatibiliteit, passend bij elk standaard PCI Express-slot, x1, x2, x8 of x16. Vergeleken met standaard PCI-netwerkkaarten biedt hij hogere bandbreedte, betere betrouwbaarheid en meer functionaliteit, zodat u profiteert van een snelle en geavanceerde verbinding, voor downloaden, internettelefonie en video-streaming.

Verbeterde beveiliging
Ondersteunt 64/128-bit WEP, WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK, WPS beveiliging.

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
Voor het snel opzetten van een versleutelde draadloze verbinding, installeert u het hulpprogramma vanaf de Support CD. Druk vervolgens op de hardwarematige WPS-knop van de PCE-N10 en klik op "volgende". Druk op de hardwarematige WPS-knop op de router waarmee u verbinding wilt maken, en dat is alles! Nadat het hulpprogramma klaar is met de installatieprocedure, is de draadloze verbinding klaar voor gebruik!

Softwarematige AP-modus
De softwarematige AP-modus laat de WLAN-kaart dienst doen als een virtueel toegangspunt. De computer moet via een Ethernet-verbinding zijn aangesloten op een bekabeld netwerk om netwerktoegang te kunnen bieden tot de WLAN client.

De PCE N-10 adapter is conform de IEEE 802.11b/ g/ n protocollen en bevat WEP, WPA-PSK, en WPA2-PSK WLAN-encryptie.
