Kings Bounty: Crossworlds is een stand-alone uitbreiding op King's Bounty: Armored Princess, wat betekent dat je Crossworlds kunt spelen zonder Armored Princess in bezit te hebben. De game bevat naast een aangepaste versie van Armored Princess ook twee nieuwe campagnes, nieuwe missies en extra voorwerpen, magische spreuken en monsters. Kings Bounty: Crossworlds is een adventuregame met zogenaamde Role-Playing Game-elementen. De game speelt zich af in een fantasiewereld waarin spelers het commando krijgen over een groot leger. Doel is om uiteindelijk het gehele continent te veroveren via gevechten die in beurten gevoerd worden. Door te communiceren met andere personages, krijg je informatie over het gebied en de vijand waar je vervolgens je voordeel mee kunt doen.
