Getting started with the eMBA (executive MBA): This module serves as a starting point for the executive MBA program. It presents the content and the time schedule. As this eMBA is largely based on e-learning, it is important to know what it means to study in this way.

Typical management topics
This includes essential topics for any executive, such as: how to manage an organisation, organisational structure, HRM (Human Resource Management), sales & marketing and finance.

Self-development
One of the most interesting elements of an MBA is the challenge of finding out what your capabilities are and can be when it comes to leadership. In each ‘block’ we therefore pay particular attention to this point.

A higher level
You presumably have specialist knowledge in your chosen field, for instance in chemistry or physics. Now finding ‘a higher level’ means that you have to act as a leader in an organisation. Although most of the time chemistry and physics will not help you directly, they do provide you with important background knowledge.

Personal development
This executive MBA program is aimed at leadership at an MBA level. This means that one section of the program is aimed at personal development, and another section is devoted to typical management topics. We already mentioned that at the start of the program you have to do a course with the title management basics as it will give you (1) a certain overview and (2) a certain starting level. Our program does not consist solely of e-learning. You must also participate in group activities. This element is important for your personal development. Finally there is a management game and writing your thesis is obviously the last part of this executive MBA program.
