Spartacus - Seizoen 2

Na de bloederige ontsnapping uit het Huis van Batiatus aan het einde van Spartacus: Blood and Sand gaat de opstand van de gladiatoren door. In Spartacus: Vengeance slaat de angst daardoor toe in de Romeinse Republiek. Gaius Claudius Glaber en zijn Romeinse troepen worden naar Capua gestuurd om de groeiende groep bevrijde slaven onder leiding van Spartacus een kopje kleiner te maken voordat ze nog meer schade kunnen aanrichten. Spartacus wordt voor een keuze gesteld: wraak nemen op de man die zijn vrouw tot slavin maakte met de dood tot gevolg, of meer offers brengen om te voorkomen dat zijn aankomende leger uiteenvalt.
