Even if the death in question is a little close to home.The action begins a week before Marty's wedding to Jeannie Hurst (Emillia Fox, 'Silent Witness') as he and Jeff are hired by famous artist Gordon Stylus (David Tennant, 'Dr Who') to watch over Stylus' emotionally unstable wife, Annette.Unfortunately during the course of the assignment, Marty is hit by a car, apparently driven by Annette, and the two plunge over a cliff to their deaths.As a grieving Jeff and Jeannie investigate how Marty died, so their lives too become endangered. Luckily for Jeff, he is helped by the ghost of his dead partner who, it transpires, is cursed to walk the earth for the duration of Jeff's life.Needless to say, solving the crime is just the beginning.
