In the course New in Powerpoint 2010 we will look at the most significant differences between PowerPoint 2007 and PowerPoint 2010. We highly recommend that you first complete the course 'New in Office 2010' as it includes topics that are also relevant to PowerPoint 2010. Video plays an important role in PowerPoint 2010, and therefore also in this course. The topics covered in this course are explained by means of detailed videos. PowerPoint 2010 is the successor to PowerPoint 2007. This newest version of PowerPoint was released in June 2010 and includes many changes and improvements.

You have already learned about several new improvements in the course 'New in Office 2010'. If you have not yet completed that course, we strongly recommend that you first complete it before continuing with this one. During this course we will examine the most important changes since PowerPoint 2007. Video plays a significant role in this newest version.

Tip 1

There are all kinds of methods to aid learning. The first advice we would like to give you is: don’t work for too long at a time. At a certain point you will be doing no more than just reading, and not absorbing the information. This is especially true if you are following the course in order to take the exam at a later date.
