The online Engagement course shows the meaning of positive psychology at work. With a wordplay we could say Positive psychology works! We do that in a special way. We always give the scientist a go and then we give the head of the HR department of an organization the floor. The scientist is Prof. dr. Dr. Arnold Bakker. He is pre-eminently the expert in positive psychology. The head of personnel affairs is Drs. Jessica van Wingerden MBA, HR director at the Royal Auris Group.

What makes people feel comfortable in their own skin. This question became increasingly apparent around the turn of the last century. And with that a new branch of sport in psychology became a fact: positive psychology.

The study in positive psychology was in part clearly fueled by a remarkable observation: why some people get burnout at a certain workload and others not only remain undisturbed, but apparently they can even enjoy the work ...
