1. The Rink (1916)
After his shift as a waiter in a restaurant Charlie goes to a roller-skating rink, where he's making things difficult for Edna's future husband and wants to impress her by making daring leaps on the rink

2. Easy Street (1917)
Charlie becomes a cop in a big city full of notorious gangsters. It's a bit lik David versus Goliath. In the second round David succeeds in winding a lamppost round Goliath's head and turns on the gas.

3. The Immigrant (1917)
Charlie a Russian Jew, Edna, immigrations-officers and their cruelness.. A few months later a tramp finds a five-dollar coin and puts this in his trousers pocket full of holes. By accident he runs into Edna and invites her to lunch with him, without realizing that he hasn't got a dime. Fortunately someone leaves a tip, which saves him from a delicate situation.

4. The Adventurer (1917)
While escaping from prison Charlie saves a drowning daughter and mother of a very rich family. He moves into their house and lives like a king. Everything is going well until a newspaper publishes a picture of an escaped prisoner on the front page.

5. Behind The Screen (1916)
As scapegoat of the stagehand, Charlie is being saddled with the most boring jobs. He discovers a beautyful blonde who wants to be in a movie herself, but he gets an actor's role and causes chaos in the studio. Add a little dynamite and nothing is left of the studio but ashes.

6. The Count (1916)
After a pursuit on a shiny slippery dance-floor, Charlie escapes while being exposed as a fake-count at a masquerade.
