Van Platinum Dunes en regisseur Marcus Nispel ( The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ) komt een re-imagining van de klassieke horrorfilm Friday the 13th . Op zoek naar zijn vermiste zus gaat Clay naar de griezelige bossen van het legendarische Crystal Lake, waar hij stuit op de krakende overblijfselen van rottende oude hutten die op de loer liggen achter met mos begroeide bomen.
